About the Design

Kindergarten and 1st grade youth artists explored themes of difference, acceptance, unconditional love, and respect through reading "It’s Okay to be Different,” by Todd Parr. Applying their knowledge of basic color theory, youth artists learned the basics of collage while constructing their self-portrait.
